The best Salesforce admin support for an RIA is a provider that knows Financial Services Cloud households, runs every change through written approval, and can show your compliance team how it meets the SEC's service provider rules. Among firms that publish wealth or RIA work, Vantage Point, Zennify, Fortimize, ShellBlack, Sikich and Mphasis Silverline are the names to compare, and they differ most on support model and how much pricing they publish.
Disclosure: Vantage Point publishes this post and is one of the firms compared. It's our own list, built from each firm's public website as of October 2026.
What should Salesforce admin support for an RIA cover in 2026?
Routine admin work is the same at any firm: user setup, permission changes, reports, flows, data fixes. What makes an RIA different is the regulatory weight behind that work, and 2026 added more of it.
Regulation S-P service provider oversight. The SEC adopted amendments to Regulation S-P in May 2024. Larger entities had to comply by December 3, 2025, and smaller entities by June 3, 2026. The amended rule requires an incident response program with written policies that include oversight of service providers through due diligence and monitoring. Service providers must notify the firm as soon as possible, and no later than 72 hours after becoming aware of a breach that affects a customer information system they maintain. A Salesforce admin partner with access to your org is very likely one of those service providers, so your contract and your due diligence file need to cover it.
Books and records. Advisers Act Rule 204-2 requires most records to be kept for at least five years, with the first two years in an appropriate office of the adviser. The rule now also lists Regulation S-P records, including written policies, incident documentation and service provider contracts. If your CRM holds client communications, meeting notes or marketing records, field history, retention settings and deletion rights belong in the support scope.
Three Salesforce releases a year. Salesforce ships Spring, Summer and Winter releases. Each one can change page layouts, permissions or automation behavior in a production org. Somebody has to read the release notes against your configuration before the release lands.
A product name in transition. Salesforce now markets Financial Services Cloud as Agentforce Financial Services, and its own documentation notes you'll still see the old name in the app. Your admin partner should know both the managed package and core versions of the data model, because many RIA orgs still run the package.
How we compared the firms
We looked for firms that offer ongoing Salesforce support (not only implementation) and show wealth management or RIA work on their own websites. For each, we recorded the support model, what the firm says about wealth or RIA focus, and any pricing it publishes. We didn't include ratings, client counts or partner tiers unless the firm states them, and we only include prices each firm publishes on its own page.
Which firms offer Salesforce admin support for RIAs?
Vantage Point
Vantage Point is a senior-led Salesforce and HubSpot consulting firm, founded in 2018 and employee-owned, with headquarters in Dallas and a practice in Sofia, Bulgaria. It has completed 700+ engagements for 175+ clients, and 79 clients are on managed services or retainers today. Founder David Cockrum was COO of a wealth management firm, Retirement Planners of America, before starting the company.
Every managed tier includes a named account lead, a P1 response target of 2 business hours (worked the same day), a monthly health check, release readiness for each of the three Salesforce releases, a quarterly roadmap and governance review, user admin, documentation, and monitoring of any AI agents Vantage Point built. Every change is logged, risk-rated, built and tested outside production, and approved by the client's named approver before deployment. Changes that touch client data, permissions or client communications go to compliance or infosec for approval. We configure the controls and your compliance team approves them.
Pricing is published on the managed services and support page: Essentials is 30 senior hours a month for $5,850, and Professional is 50 hours for $9,500, billed monthly on a 12-month term with licenses not included. Enterprise (80+ hours) is quoted. Overage is $225 an hour, approved in advance.
Best for: RIAs that want senior admins, written change control and a published monthly price.
Not the right fit if: you need 24/7 support, you want the lowest-cost offshore admin hours, or you're a global enterprise looking for a large systems integrator.
Zennify
Zennify runs a wealth management practice with separate offers for wealth managers and asset managers, including an advisor agent accelerator. Its managed services page lists three pre-scoped offerings. The "Responsive admin" offering covers ticket resolution, tech debt, reports and dashboards, user training and org health, and is listed as "6 months minimum | From $32,000". It offers onshore, nearshore and offshore delivery.
Best for: wealth managers that want a financial services specialist with a defined admin package and a choice of delivery locations.
Fortimize
Fortimize says it "began in wealth" and has a dedicated Salesforce for wealth and asset management practice. Its managed services model is called Delivery as a Service, and it also sells ticket-based support with prepaid hours. Its support packages page lists a Starter Pack of 28 hours at $5,875, a Growth Pack of 60 hours at $11,750, and an Enterprise Pack of 125 hours at $23,500.
Best for: RIAs that want to buy a block of hours and draw it down, rather than commit to a monthly retainer.
ShellBlack
ShellBlack positions itself around Salesforce for financial services, and its wealth management page says it has worked with firms "from independent registered investment advisors (RIAs) to firms with more than 100 billion in assets under management." Its ongoing support page describes a pay-as-you-go, time-and-materials model with "No long-term contracts or mandatory minimum retainers." Rates aren't published.
Best for: RIAs with uneven demand that would rather pay hourly than hold a reserved monthly capacity.
Sikich
Sikich offers flexible Salesforce support options, including a virtual Salesforce administrator service it describes as U.S.-based, covering user management, configuration, reports and dashboards. It has a Salesforce for wealth management practice, and an affiliate, Sikich Financial, is an SEC-registered investment adviser. Pricing isn't published.
Best for: RIAs that want a U.S.-based virtual administrator from a firm with its own wealth management practice.
Mphasis Silverline
Silverline, part of Mphasis, helps wealth and asset management firms unify data in Financial Services Cloud. Its managed services page covers backlog management, integration monitoring, a Center of Excellence, quarterly business reviews and a DevOps maturity model. Pricing isn't published, and its wealth page speaks to wealth and asset managers broadly rather than RIAs specifically.
Best for: larger wealth and asset management firms that want managed services from a firm inside a global IT services group.

Monthly managed service, prepaid hours or pay as you go?
The three models in this list suit different RIAs.
A monthly managed tier gives you reserved senior capacity, a named lead and recurring work (health checks, release reviews, governance meetings) that happens whether or not anyone files a ticket. It suits firms whose Salesforce org is central to operations and changes every month.
Prepaid hour blocks suit firms with a steady but small queue. You pay up front and draw down, which keeps the commitment smaller. Check what happens to unused hours and how long a block stays valid.
Pay-as-you-go suits firms with occasional needs and an internal admin who handles the routine work. The tradeoff is that nobody is assigned to watch releases or review your org unless you ask and pay for it.
Our comparison of retainers and blocks of hours goes deeper on the tradeoffs, and our cost comparison of managed services and a full-time admin covers the hire-or-outsource question.
Buyer checklist: what should an RIA ask a Salesforce support provider?
- Will you sign a contract that requires you to notify us of a breach affecting our systems within 72 hours, as Regulation S-P requires of service providers?
- What evidence can you give our CCO for the service provider oversight file: security policies, insurance, background checks, access controls?
- Who in our firm approves a change, and how is each approval recorded? Do changes that touch client data or permissions go to compliance first?
- Do you build and test in a sandbox, and how do you deploy to production?
- How do you review each Salesforce release against our configuration, and when do we hear about it?
- Have you worked with both the Financial Services Cloud managed package and the core data model? Which one is our org on?
- How do you handle field history, retention settings and record deletion so we stay within Rule 204-2?
- Which custodian, portfolio accounting and planning integrations have you supported, and who monitors them for failures?
- Who is our named contact, what are your support hours and time zone, and what is the response target for a P1 issue?
- What is published about your pricing, what happens to unused hours, and how are overages approved?
Frequently asked questions
What does Salesforce admin support for an RIA include?
It usually covers user setup and permissions, reports and dashboards, flows and automation, data fixes, integration monitoring and release reviews. For an RIA it should also include documented change control, so every change to client data, permissions or communications is approved and recorded. Ask each provider which of these are in the base fee and which are billed as extra.
How much does Salesforce managed services cost for an RIA?
Published prices vary by model. Vantage Point's Essentials tier is $5,850 a month for 30 senior hours on a 12-month term. Fortimize lists prepaid packs starting at 28 hours for $5,875, and Zennify lists its Responsive admin offering "From $32,000" with a six-month minimum. ShellBlack, Sikich and Silverline don't publish rates.
Is a Salesforce consultant a service provider under Regulation S-P?
A firm that receives, maintains, processes or is otherwise permitted access to customer information through its services can be a service provider under the amended rule. Most Salesforce admin partners with access to a production org fit that description. Ask your compliance counsel to confirm for your situation, and build the 72-hour notification requirement into the contract.
When did RIAs have to comply with the Regulation S-P amendments?
Larger entities had to comply by December 3, 2025. Smaller entities had until June 3, 2026. Both dates have now passed, so an RIA bringing on a new Salesforce partner in 2026 should run the oversight steps before granting access.
Should an RIA hire a full-time Salesforce admin instead?
A full-time admin makes sense when the work fills a full-time role and you can keep the person. Many RIAs need a mix of admin, architecture, integration and compliance knowledge that one hire rarely covers. Some firms keep an internal admin for daily requests and use a managed service for releases, integrations and larger changes.
Does any provider on this list offer 24/7 Salesforce support?
None of the pages we reviewed for this list publishes 24/7 support for its Salesforce admin service. Vantage Point supports clients during US Central or Eastern European business hours and doesn't offer 24/7 coverage. If you need round-the-clock coverage, ask each provider directly and get it in writing.
