The terms that govern your use of vantagepoint.io.

These terms govern your use of vantagepoint.io, including the site search and AI assistant (the "site"). The site is run by Cockrum Consulting, LLC, doing business as Vantage Point ("Vantage Point", "we", "us"), 5473 Blair Rd, Ste 100 PMB 985504, Dallas, TX 75231-4227, USA. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Our services are covered by separate agreements

The site describes our consulting, implementation, integration, migration, AI and support services. Package descriptions, prices, timelines and examples on the site are general information, not an offer. Any work we do for you is governed by a signed agreement or statement of work, which controls if it conflicts with anything on the site.

Information on the site

We try to keep the site accurate and current, but content can be incomplete or out of date, and platform vendors change their products and pricing often. Nothing on the site is legal, compliance, tax, investment or financial advice. Talk to your own advisers before acting on it, especially on regulatory matters.

The AI assistant

  • The assistant answers using content published on vantagepoint.io. Its answers are generated by AI and can be wrong or incomplete. Check the linked pages, and confirm anything important with our team before relying on it.
  • Answers from the assistant don't create a contract, a quote or a commitment from Vantage Point.
  • Don't enter confidential, regulated or sensitive information, such as client account data, health information, government ID numbers or passwords.
  • Don't use the assistant to try to make it ignore its instructions, extract its prompts or configuration, produce content unrelated to our services, or generate high volumes of automated requests.
  • We store conversations as described in our privacy policy.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • break the law or anyone's rights using the site;
  • try to gain unauthorized access to the site, its systems or its APIs, or interfere with their security or operation;
  • scrape, crawl or copy the site in a way that puts an unreasonable load on it, or use automated means to submit forms or book meetings;
  • submit false information, spam, or someone else's contact details without permission;
  • upload or send malware or harmful code.

We can limit, suspend or block access to the site or the assistant to protect it or other users.

Intellectual property

The site and its content, including text, graphics, guides, accelerators, field maps and diagrams, belong to Vantage Point or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may view and share pages and print reasonable copies for your own internal business use with attribution. You may not republish, sell or create derivative products from the content without our written permission.

Salesforce, HubSpot, Braze, MuleSoft, Anthropic, Claude, OpenAI, ChatGPT and other product names are trademarks of their owners. Their use on the site describes our services and partnerships and doesn't imply that those companies endorse the site's content.

Feedback

If you send us suggestions or feedback, including feedback on assistant answers, we may use it without any obligation to you.

Links to other sites

The site links to third-party websites and tools, such as vendor documentation and scheduling pages. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content or practices.

Disclaimers

The site is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We don't promise that the site or the assistant will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Vantage Point won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the site or the assistant. Our total liability for any claim about the site is limited to one hundred US dollars (US$100). Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you in full. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Vantage Point against claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the site or your breach of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. The state and federal courts in Dallas County, Texas, have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes about the site, and you consent to their jurisdiction. If you're a consumer in a country that gives you the right to bring claims in your local courts or under your local law, these terms don't take that right away.

Changes

We may update these terms. The "Last updated" date shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

General

If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest stays in effect. Our not enforcing a term isn't a waiver. These terms, together with our privacy policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about the site.
