For a bank or credit union moving customer or member data into HubSpot, the firms with the most relevant public evidence are Geear, Nook, GreenHouse Agency, The Pedowitz Group, OneMetric and Vantage Point. They differ on how deeply they connect HubSpot to core and loan origination systems, whether they focus on credit unions or banks, and how much pricing they publish.

Disclosure: Vantage Point publishes this post and is one of the firms compared. It's our own list, built from each firm's public website and HubSpot Solutions Directory profile as of October 2026.

Why is a HubSpot migration harder for a bank or credit union?

Most HubSpot migrations move contacts, companies, deals and email history. A bank or credit union usually has more to protect and more systems to reconcile.

Customer information rules apply to the vendor too. Banks follow the Interagency Guidelines Establishing Information Security Standards, and federally insured credit unions follow the NCUA's equivalent guidelines in 12 CFR Part 748, Appendix A. Both require the institution to exercise due diligence in selecting service providers, require them by contract to implement appropriate safeguards, and monitor them, including by reviewing audits or test results. A migration partner that handles exported customer or member files falls inside that oversight.

Third-party risk management. The Federal Reserve, FDIC and OCC issued the Interagency Guidance on Third-Party Relationships: Risk Management on June 6, 2023. Expect your vendor management team to run a migration partner through the same intake as any other third party with data access.

Retention doesn't stop at cutover. There's no single retention period for bank records. Bank Secrecy Act records, for example, must be kept for five years. If your old CRM holds anything in scope, decide before the migration whether it moves to HubSpot, stays in an archive, or both.

The core is the source of truth. Account and product data usually lives in the core or the loan origination system, so the CRM migration is often paired with an ongoing integration. Migrating a one-time snapshot of balances or products without a sync plan leaves stale data in HubSpot within days.

What do HubSpot's own migration tools cover?

HubSpot gives you two self-service routes. Smart Transfer moves data from systems including Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Zoho and Pipedrive. Only Super Admins can use it, and transferring custom field mappings requires a Data Hub subscription. The import tool handles files: on paid plans, files up to 512 MB, up to 1,048,576 rows per file, up to 10,000,000 rows a day and 500 imports a day, with fewer than 1,000 columns per file.

For complex moves, HubSpot points customers to migration apps such as Import2 and SyncMatters, or to paid technical consulting. HubSpot's included migration service is for websites on Content Hub Professional and Enterprise, not for CRM data.

Two HubSpot facts matter to a bank's security review. The Sensitive Data feature, which lets you store financial and personal identification data in designated properties, is available only on Enterprise subscriptions. HubSpot's Trust Center provides its SOC 2 Type II and SOC 3 reports, and HubSpot hosts on Amazon Web Services with data centers in the US (Virginia and Oregon), the EU (Germany), Canada and Australia.

Which firms handle HubSpot migrations for banks and credit unions?

Geear

Geear, formerly WebStrategies, is a HubSpot Diamond Partner focused on credit unions and community banks. It calls itself SOC 2 Type II compliant and a HubSpot Banking Industry Specialist and Financial Services Specialist. Its credit union and community bank page describes connecting HubSpot to core and loan origination systems (it names Symitar, Fiserv, Correlation, MeridianLink and Origence) through what it calls its Zero Footprint Data Solution. It publishes price ranges: $20,000 to $35,000 one-time for onboarding and strategy, $7,000 to $15,000 one-time for data integration and mapping, and $5,000 to $12,000 a month for ongoing strategy and execution, with final pricing confirmed after discovery.

Best for: credit unions and community banks that want a HubSpot partner with core integration experience and published price ranges.

Nook

Nook is a Credit Union Service Organization (CUSO) and a Platinum HubSpot Solutions Partner. Its HubSpot for credit unions page lists data migration of member and marketing data into HubSpot alongside CRM setup, integrations and ongoing support, and its homepage says it works with credit unions starting without a CRM, moving to HubSpot, or fixing an implementation. It offers a data connector it says stays within the credit union's own environment. Pricing isn't published.

Best for: credit unions that want a partner organized as a CUSO and built around member data.

GreenHouse Agency

GreenHouse Agency, based in Lake Mary, Florida, is a Diamond-tier HubSpot Solutions Partner. Its HubSpot Solutions Directory profile says it specializes in HubSpot integrations, implementation and onboarding for credit unions, banks and insurance. Its capabilities page describes a data model for bringing core banking data into HubSpot and lists integrations with FIS, Fiserv, KeyStone, Abrigo, Banno and others. Pricing isn't published.

Best for: banks and credit unions whose migration depends on bringing core banking data into HubSpot.

The Pedowitz Group

The Pedowitz Group is a HubSpot Platinum Partner with a dedicated financial services practice for banks, credit unions, insurance, fintech and wealth management. Its HubSpot for financial services page has sections on retail and commercial banking and credit union member marketing, and a migration service for financial services organizations moving off legacy marketing automation platforms. Pricing isn't published.

Best for: banks moving marketing automation (rather than full CRM records) from platforms such as Marketo, Eloqua or Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

OneMetric

OneMetric is a HubSpot Elite partner. Its migration page says it handles the entire CRM migration to HubSpot, and its fintech page lists a CRM migration engagement from Salesforce, Pipedrive and Zoho at 4 to 8 weeks, sold at a fixed scope and price. It mentions connecting HubSpot with banking cores. Its published focus is fintech and lending more than chartered banks or credit unions, and pricing isn't published.

Best for: fintech lenders and digital banks that want a fixed-scope migration on a short timeline.

Vantage Point

Vantage Point is a HubSpot Gold Solutions Partner and a Salesforce partner, headquartered in Dallas with a practice in Sofia, Bulgaria. Since 2018 it has completed 700+ engagements for 175+ clients, mostly in financial services and other regulated industries.

Our Salesforce to HubSpot migration package covers object and property mapping, owner and pipeline mapping, a trial load and a reconciliation report, and it's quoted after scoping. Because we implement both platforms, our banking page is direct about fit: we recommend Salesforce Financial Services Cloud for most community and regional banks and commercial lending teams, and HubSpot for fintech lenders, digital banks and marketing-led acquisition. If HubSpot isn't the right destination for your institution, we'll say so before you migrate. After go-live, HubSpot managed services start at $4,800 a month for 30 senior hours (Essentials, 12-month term, licenses not included), with a named account lead and every change logged and approved by your named approver.

Best for: banks and credit unions that want a senior team able to compare HubSpot with Salesforce before committing, and a single partner for migration and ongoing support.

Not the right fit if: you need 24/7 support, you want the lowest-cost offshore hours, or you're a large institution looking for a global systems integrator.

How should you pick a partner for your situation?

If you're a credit union, start with the firms whose public work is built around members and credit union cores. Geear and Nook both lead with credit unions, and GreenHouse lists credit unions first in its directory profile.

If you're a community bank, look hardest at core integration. A migration that lands contacts in HubSpot but can't keep products and relationships current won't hold up. Ask each firm to show a data flow from your specific core to HubSpot.

If you're moving only marketing automation, a marketing-led partner such as The Pedowitz Group may fit better than a CRM data specialist.

If you're not yet sure HubSpot is the right platform, talk to a partner that implements more than one CRM. Our guide to choosing a CRM data migration partner for banks covers the selection process, and our HubSpot for community banks and credit unions post covers where HubSpot fits. If you're a wealth or trust business inside a bank, our comparison of HubSpot migration partners for wealth firms covers a different set of firms.

Buyer checklist: what should a bank or credit union ask before signing?

  • What customer or member data will you receive, where will it be stored during the migration, and when will you delete it?
  • Can you provide a SOC 2 report or equivalent evidence for our vendor management review?
  • Will you agree by contract to the safeguards our information security program requires of service providers?
  • Which cores and loan origination systems have you connected to HubSpot, and can we see the data flow for ours?
  • Is this a one-time migration, an ongoing integration, or both? Who maintains the integration after go-live?
  • How many trial loads are included, and what does the reconciliation report compare?
  • Which HubSpot subscription do we need for the data we plan to store, including Sensitive Data properties on Enterprise?
  • How will you handle records we have to retain but don't want in HubSpot?
  • How are opt-outs, consent and required disclosures carried over so marketing stays compliant on day one?
  • What's included in the price, and what happens if record counts or objects grow during the project?

Frequently asked questions

How long does a HubSpot migration take for a bank or credit union?

It depends on record volume, the number of source systems and whether a core integration is in scope. OneMetric publishes 4 to 8 weeks for a fintech CRM migration from Salesforce, Pipedrive or Zoho. A migration that includes a new core or loan origination integration, vendor due diligence and a parallel run will take longer.

Does HubSpot migrate CRM data for free?

HubSpot offers two self-service tools, Smart Transfer and the import tool, though Smart Transfer needs a Data Hub subscription to carry over custom field mappings. HubSpot's included migration service covers websites on Content Hub Professional and Enterprise. For complex CRM migrations, HubSpot points customers to migration apps and paid consulting.

Is a HubSpot migration partner a service provider under bank and credit union rules?

A partner that receives or accesses customer or member information during the migration is typically treated as a service provider under the interagency guidelines for banks and the NCUA guidelines for credit unions. That means due diligence, contract terms and ongoing monitoring. Confirm the treatment with your compliance and vendor management teams.

Can HubSpot store sensitive financial data?

HubSpot's Sensitive Data feature lets you store financial and personal identification data in designated properties, with extra controls. It's available only on Enterprise subscriptions. Decide which fields truly need to live in HubSpot before you migrate them.

Where is HubSpot data hosted?

HubSpot runs on Amazon Web Services, with data centers in the US (Virginia and Oregon), the EU (Germany), Canada and Australia. Ask your partner and HubSpot account team which region your portal will use before you load data.

Should a bank on Salesforce move to HubSpot at all?

Sometimes. HubSpot can fit fintech lenders, digital banks and marketing-led acquisition teams, while many community and regional banks with commercial lending, complex relationships and core integrations are better served by Salesforce Financial Services Cloud. A partner that implements both can compare the two against your requirements before you commit.
