What we deliver for technology leaders
Architecture and platform strategy
Org strategy, data model design, platform selection between Salesforce, HubSpot or both, and a roadmap with costs.
Integration
MuleSoft, APIs and middleware connecting the CRM to custodial, core, loan, policy, ERP and data warehouse systems, built with monitoring and error handling.
Security and access
SSO and MFA, permission design, field-level security, encryption and event monitoring where your risk profile requires it.
Data governance
Ownership, quality rules, deduplication and a data dictionary, so reporting and AI run on data you can stand behind.
Org health and technical debt
Reviews of custom code, automation, unused fields and integrations, with a prioritized cleanup plan.
AI architecture
How Claude, ChatGPT, Agentforce or RecordIQ connect to your data, what they can see, and how prompts and outputs are logged.
What we see in technology teams
Integrations break quietly
A nightly sync fails and nobody notices until a report is wrong or a client calls.
The org has years of build-up
Old automations, unused fields and undocumented code make every change risky.
Every business team wants something different
Marketing, sales and service each push their own priorities onto one platform.
AI requests arrive faster than the controls
Teams want AI tools connected to client data before access rules and logging are in place.
The internal team is stretched
One or two admins can't keep up with enhancements, releases and support.
What compliance needs from IT
- Documented access controls and periodic access reviews.
- Field history and event logs on sensitive data.
- Encryption and data residency that match your policy and client contracts.
- Vendor and integration documentation for audits and exams.
- Logging and approval for AI tools that touch client data.
Recent work for technology teams
- National debt-resolution firm: 12+ integrations delivered and 250+ employees unified on Salesforce in 90 days.
- National call-center life insurer: 12+ systems integrated.
- $3.5B private equity firm: five strategies on one Salesforce platform.
Salesforce or HubSpot for IT?
Salesforce offers the deepest customization, industry data models, MuleSoft for integration, and Shield for encryption, field audit and event monitoring. It needs stronger in-house or partner administration.
HubSpot is simpler to administer, with a lower total cost for many mid-market firms, and has added custom objects, data sync and stronger permissions. It suits firms that want less platform overhead.
Running both is common. The architecture question then is which system owns each record and how they stay in sync.
Technology workflows that run on the platform
Release management
Changes move from sandbox to test to production with a documented approval, and regression checks run before each Salesforce release.
Integration monitoring
Failed syncs raise alerts with enough detail to fix them, and a dashboard shows integration health by system.
Access review
Each quarter, managers confirm who has access to what, and changes are logged.
Intake and prioritization
Business requests come in through one queue, are sized, and are ranked against the roadmap.
What technology leaders should track
- Integration reliability: failed or delayed syncs by system and month.
- Platform cost: license use against purchased seats, plus support and enhancement spend.
- Change throughput: requests delivered against requests received.
- Data quality: duplicate rate, missing key fields and records failing validation.
- Security posture: results of the Salesforce Security Health Check and open access findings.
Your first four steps
- Run a security and integration health check. Salesforce's Security Health Check and a review of integration error logs show your biggest risks quickly.
- Decide the system of record for each object. Clients, accounts, products and activities each need one owner.
- Inventory what's been built. List automations, code, integrations and unused fields before anyone adds more.
- Set AI access rules before connecting AI tools. Decide what data AI can use, who approves new uses and what gets logged.
Technology in your industry
- Wealth management: custodial and portfolio integrations with Orion, Black Diamond, Tamarac, Addepar, Pershing and Fidelity Wealthscape.
- Banking: MuleSoft integrations to MeridianLink, Encompass, Blend and Fiserv card services.
- Asset management: Seismic, SharePoint, Dakota Marketplace and FINTRX connected to the CRM.
- Private equity: one platform across strategies, with deal and investor data unified.

IT & technology: questions
Do you work with our internal IT team or around them?
With them. We follow your standards, document every design decision, and hand over with runbooks so your team can support what we build.
Who actually does the work?
Senior consultants only, AI-augmented, with no junior bench. The people in the design sessions are the people who build.
Can you help with Salesforce security for an exam or audit?
Yes. We review access, field-level security, encryption and logging against your policy, and configure Shield where you need encryption, field audit history or event monitoring.
How do you connect AI to client data safely?
We set what data each AI tool can read, keep it within Salesforce or HubSpot permissions where possible, and log prompts and outputs where policy requires. RecordIQ, our Salesforce accelerator, respects field-level security by design.
Can you take over support from our current partner?
Yes. We start with an org review, document what exists and then take on support through a retainer or managed services plan.
