Short answer

A CRM strategy works when people use the system, so the proof that matters is adoption in production. This page collects Vantage Point case studies and guides on CRM strategy and user adoption. Each one carries a single fact taken from its source page, so you can read the full story before you decide what applies to your firm.

CRM strategy and adoption questions

What makes a CRM strategy succeed after go-live?

Adoption, more than configuration. The guides below cover executive sponsorship, change management, training, and measuring activity, data quality and business outcomes, so you can see whether people use the system as designed.

Can a failed CRM implementation be recovered?

Sometimes it can. Two of the case studies here start from failed attempts: a regional insurance brokerage that had three failed CRM attempts, and a national mortgage lender whose Financial Services Cloud rollout was rescued. Whether a rescue or a rebuild fits depends on what exists today.

How do you measure CRM adoption?

Our measurement guide uses three tiers: activity metrics, quality metrics and outcome metrics. Logins alone don't show whether records are complete or whether the process is followed.
