Service Cloud

Short answer

Service Cloud is Salesforce's customer service platform. It manages cases across phone, email, chat and messaging, routes work to the right agent, provides a knowledge base, and gives service teams a full view of the customer alongside sales and account data.

Service Cloud explained

Service Cloud covers case management, omni-channel routing, entitlements and service-level agreements, knowledge articles, macros and a service console built for agents who switch between many customers in a day. Service Cloud Voice brings telephony into the console, and Agentforce service agents can resolve routine requests before they reach a person.

For financial firms, Service Cloud often handles client service requests such as address changes, money movement and document requests, tracked against service levels.

How Vantage Point helps: we design case processes, routing and knowledge for service teams and connect them to telephony and Agentforce.
