FINTRX integration

FINTRX Salesforce

Short answer

A FINTRX integration loads data on RIAs, family offices and other allocators into Salesforce, so asset managers and fund distributors can target and track the firms and contacts they sell to.

How the FINTRX integration works

FINTRX provides data on registered investment advisers, family offices and institutional investors. Asset managers connect it to Salesforce to create and enrich firm and contact records, match on CRD numbers and keep coverage territories current. Loading into dedicated fields and testing in a sandbox first protects data the firm already maintains.

What syncs

  • Firms and contacts with CRD numbers
  • AUM and firm profile data
  • Updates to existing records

Integration options

  • FINTRX Salesforce integration
  • Matching on CRD number, then name and domain
  • Dedicated custom fields to avoid overwriting internal data

What to plan for

  • CRD matching quality
  • Overwriting fields maintained by the sales team
  • Licence limits on records

Frequently asked questions

Can FINTRX overwrite our data?

Not if it is mapped to dedicated fields. We test in a sandbox before switching on updates in production.

How are records matched?

Primarily on CRD number, with name and domain as fallbacks.
