Financial Services Cloud (FSC)

Short answer

Financial Services Cloud (FSC) is Salesforce's industry CRM for banks, credit unions, wealth managers and insurers. It adds a financial data model to the Salesforce platform: households, financial accounts, holdings, goals and relationship maps, so advisors and bankers see a client's whole financial picture in one place.

Financial Services Cloud (FSC) explained

Standard Salesforce is built around companies and contacts. Financial firms work with households, joint owners, trusts, beneficiaries and accounts held at custodians, and FSC models those relationships out of the box. Relationship maps show who is connected to whom, financial accounts and holdings can be fed from a custodian or core system, and pre-built objects cover referrals, goals, life events and service requests.

FSC also includes compliant data sharing controls, action plans for repeatable processes such as account opening, and Agentforce capabilities tuned for financial services. Because it runs on the core Salesforce platform, it works with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud and Data 360.

How Vantage Point helps: we implement and rescue FSC orgs for wealth managers, RIAs, banks and insurers, including migrations from Wealthbox, Redtail and Epic, and custodian data feeds.

Frequently asked questions

Who is Financial Services Cloud for?

Banks, credit unions, wealth management firms, RIAs, asset managers and insurance agencies that need a household and financial-account view of clients rather than a plain company-and-contact CRM.

Can I migrate to FSC from Redtail or Wealthbox?

Yes. Contacts, households, notes, activities and account data can be mapped into the FSC data model. The work is mostly in cleaning duplicates and deciding how households and relationships should be represented before loading.
