HubSpot–Salesforce Connector

Also known as: HubSpot Salesforce integration

Short answer

The HubSpot–Salesforce connector is HubSpot's native integration that syncs contacts, leads, companies, deals, tasks and activity between HubSpot and Salesforce. Many financial firms use it to run marketing in HubSpot on top of a Salesforce CRM.

HubSpot–Salesforce Connector explained

The connector uses field mappings with rules such as "prefer Salesforce unless blank" or "always use HubSpot", inclusion lists that control which records sync, and an integration user in Salesforce. It can sync custom objects on supported editions and logs HubSpot activity as Salesforce tasks. Sync errors, such as validation rules or picklist mismatches, appear in a health dashboard.

Most problems come from unclear field ownership and records stuck in sync errors that nobody monitors.

How Vantage Point helps: we set up and repair the HubSpot–Salesforce connector, clear sync errors and document field ownership.

The connector itself is available with HubSpot Professional and Enterprise editions at no extra cost; some features depend on edition.

Why are records not syncing?

Common causes are records outside the inclusion list, Salesforce validation rules, picklist value mismatches and integration user permissions.
