Translation Changes Across 12 Languages Coming Soon

Heads up, Salesforce Admins! Salesforce has announced upcoming changes to translated labels for standard objects, tabs, and fields arriving with the Spring '26 release (targeted for January 2026).

What's Changing?

In Spring '26, Salesforce is updating translations for standard labels across 12 languages:

  • Chinese (Simplified & Traditional)
  • Dutch
  • Finnish
  • French
  • Japanese
  • Korean
  • Norwegian
  • Polish
  • Slovenian
  • Thai
  • Turkish

These changes will apply automatically to all orgs when your instance receives the Spring '26 release.

What Should You Do?

Review the Changes

Download the complete list of translation changes from Salesforce's knowledge article: Review Spring '26 Updated Label Translations. The article includes the English term alongside both the previous and new translations for each affected label.

Check Your Release Date

Find out when your org will receive the update by visiting Salesforce Trust Status, searching for your instance, and checking the Maintenance tab.

Keep Previous Labels (If Needed)

If your organization prefers to retain the Winter '26 labels, admins can use Salesforce's Rename Tabs and Labels feature to revert specific terms.
